Meal Prep!

This is what a Sunday meal prep looks like for my family.
What we have is...
Chicken grilled, baked and crock pot shredded
Steak grilled and finished in the oven
bacon.... of course!!
cherry tomatoes
strawberries
blueberries
bananas
almonds
SFH protein
apples
avocados
baby spinach
zucchini
yellow squash
broccoli
carrots
asparagus
cauliflower
butternut squash cubed
green beans
grilled pineapple

We prep all the veggies but don't pre cook them because I still like the freshness of cooking them for each meal and I will be using them for different things so it's easier to just wash and cut up so they are ready to go for whatever I need them for.

Berries you don't want to wash until right before you are going to use them because they will mold faster if you wash them and then leave them in the fridge.

Both bananas and avocados I buy very green so I can use them throughout the week.


What is not in this picture but will also be used this week are...
eggs that I have for breakfast and hard boiled that we did for Easter lol,
sweet potatoes,
my husbands oatmeal
some ground meat like beef and bison I will cook about mid week.
Salmon
my pre workout snack of lunch meat
and my post workout yogurt (yes i know that's not paleo but it doesn't bother my stomach and it's easy)
and my first morning meal which is a protein shake that has spinach and pumpkin.

 Throughout this week I will be taking pictures of what I use all this awesome food for so you can see how great it is to meal prep one day and how much faster it makes weekly meals.

 I hope this gives you guys some inspiration to jump on the meal prep wheel yourself.

Remember if you fail to plan you plan to fail!
